More than just an idea or even an ethical system, Christianity and Christian faith are carried by the lifestream initiated by God's offer of a covenant to humanity in the Old and, through Jesus Christ, the New Testament. This Covenant dimensions of Christian life has found new and unique expression in the covenant spirituality of the Schoenstatt Movement.  In particular, the covenant of love with Mary has become the heart piece of a spirituality which seeks to renew the Church and world on the strength of a deep and personal relationship with the Mother of God.  Through this covenant relationship rooted in the Schoenstatt Shrine many people have begun to more deeply live the covenant dynamic of our faith - God's offer and our yes, the mutual nature of a personal relationship with God, trust in God's loving care as practical faith in Divine Providence, the importance of experiences of natural love for the unfolding of our supernatural love, and much more.  In fact, it becomes clear how much a covenant of love with Mary can lead to a deeper covenant of love with Christ, the Holy Spirit, and God the Father.  These and other horizons are explored in this book on Schoenstatt's Covenant Spirituality based on original texts of Schoenstatt's founder, Father Joseph Kentenich.
